In 2010, working with the Friends of North Kigezi Diocese, we funded construction of a house for at the remote village of Bucence in South-West Uganda. This is now home to four orphans under the care of a local widow called Hope.
Lionel House, Worthing, West Sussex, UK
The first Lionel House was established in Worthing in 1993 for children and young people without a proper home. Over the following 8 years Lionel House gave highly effective support, shelter and care to more than 250 vulnerable and disadvantaged adolescents. In 2001 operation of the home was tranferred to Worthing Churches Homeless Project.
